The Ogdensburg–Prescott International Bridge is a 1.5-mile cable suspension bridge that spans the Saint Lawrence Seaway, linking the north-central border of New York State with Canada. The rehabilitation project was designed to ensure the long-term viability and safety of this vital international conduit.
Built in 1960, the bridge was categorized as a structurally deficient surface transportation asset. It was targeted for rehabilitation under New York State’s adopted Transportation Master Plan.
