O’Connell Electric Company played a pivotal role in the $70 million expansion of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, delivering comprehensive electrical infrastructure across a transformative 118,000-square-foot healthcare project. Executed over a 36-month timeline, this multi-phased initiative showcased our deep expertise in complex healthcare environments.
Phase I introduced a new 6,800-square-foot emergency department, complemented by renovations to the existing 16,500-square-foot ED and the addition of an 11,200-square-foot operating room and MRI suite. Phase II expanded the hospital’s capabilities with a 25,000-square-foot radiology department renovation and a new 54,000-square-foot acute care center, complete with a modernized hospital lobby and entrance. The final component included a 5,300-square-foot renovation of the laser eye care department.
Our scope of work included the installation of state-of-the-art lighting systems, fire alarms, nurse call systems, general power distribution, and more. This project exemplifies O’Connell Electric’s commitment to excellence, safety, and innovation in healthcare construction.
