One of our standout commercial projects was the transformation of the newly named Five Star Bank Plaza at 100 Chestnut Street—a twenty-story tower that now houses the bank’s second financial solutions center in the city.
Five Star Bank leased 54,000 square feet of office space, including a ground-floor financial center and several upper floors that were stripped down to the structure and completely rebuilt to accommodate new office and conference spaces. The scale of the project earned the bank naming rights and a prominent illuminated sign that now defines the downtown skyline.
O’Connell Electric was subcontracted to deliver all new electrical services and upgrades throughout the renovated space. Our team installed a range of modern systems, including a custom-designed LED lighting feature above the boardroom table. This centerpiece fixture spans eight feet by eighteen feet and is composed of nine interconnected sections, each powered by three LED drivers mounted above the ceiling and controlled via dimmer switch—blending form, function, and innovation.
With a dedicated crew of over 20 electricians and tight scheduling constraints, the project was completed on time and to the highest standards—earning praise from both the client and the community.
