Dan joined O’Connell Electric after spending 26 years in utility line clearance and vegetation management while working for Asplundh Tree Expert Company and Lewis Tree Service. Additionally, Dan spent three years at Wegmans as Insurance Manager and Director of Risk Management. Dan has spent nearly his entire career in safety, training, insurance, claims and overall risk management. He has also worked extensively in industry associations and collaboratively with numerous Federal and State regulatory agencies.
In his role at OCE, Dan will lead our Company in the areas of safety, claims management, insurance and DOT compliance. He is a graduate of Villanova University, the Simon School of Business, and holds the designation of ARM (Associate of Risk Management) and CUSP (Certified Utility Safety Professional)
